手自一體變速箱的檔位有P,R,N,D和M/S。P,R,N和D檔和純自動(dòng)檔的沒有什么區(qū)別,不同點(diǎn)是M/S檔,這個(gè)檔是手動(dòng)模式檔(有的也叫運(yùn)動(dòng)模式)。這里主要提一提S擋。掛進(jìn)S擋后電腦的換擋邏輯會(huì)產(chǎn)生變化，相對(duì)來說升擋會(huì)比較遲，但動(dòng)力更強(qiáng)。

S擋的問題在于油耗會(huì)增加很多，因?yàn)殚L時(shí)間處于低擋補(bǔ)油的狀態(tài)。相對(duì)來說，D擋比S擋更省油，但動(dòng)力沒有那么直接。因此，S擋更適用于超車或上坡時(shí)。

使用S擋時(shí)，把檔桿向+的方向推動(dòng)是進(jìn)檔,向-的方向是退檔，不需要踩剎車，有些車的手動(dòng)模式會(huì)設(shè)置5000轉(zhuǎn)強(qiáng)制進(jìn)檔。雖然S擋動(dòng)力更強(qiáng)，但并不建議車主長時(shí)間使用該檔位。因?yàn)樵摍n位雖然能夠瞬間提高轉(zhuǎn)速加大動(dòng)力，但長期使用卻會(huì)讓自動(dòng)變速箱承受更多的負(fù)荷，導(dǎo)致變速箱過早磨損。
